GPOTW!
Or Wednesday (Afternoon) Lab Style
With the whole eating-clean-and-exercising-like-it’s-no-joke deal, I like to downplay the weight loss effect and focus on the fact that I feel better, that I amaze myself all of the time with the physical things I can do, ones that I thought I couldn’t do.
But…one of the added benefits is fitting into things that I had become too big for.  Enter this shirt, c. 2006 (the first summer I was in one of my labs…).  I looked at it this morning, tried it on — and dang!  It fits again!
Annnnnnd!  It’s my Where The Wild Things Are shirt!
The polka dotted undershirt is just ‘cause.
As in “just ‘cause if I don’t wear it, everyone will see my thong—a jeans staple in this here household—when I’m in the hood.”
